CHOP Center for Pediatric Contrast Ultrasound (CPCU) - A Webinar Focused on Contrast Ultrasound in Children

Date:
Jun 2, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (ET)

Overview

This one-day ultrasound (US) webinar is hosted by the Center of Pediatric Contrast Ultrasound (CPCU) in the Department of Radiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

The webinar is designed to teach the basic principles of pediatric contrast-enhanced US (CEUS) including diagnostic and interventional radiology. The target audience includes those using contrast-enhanced US (CEUS) or caring for children who would benefit from CEUS such as: pediatric radiologists, sonographers, general practice and subspecialty clinicians, nurses and ultrasound application specialists.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of the webinar, participants should be able to:

  1. Perform and interpret intravenous CEUS studies in pediatric patients.
  2. Perform and interpret contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography (ceVUS) studies in pediatric patients.
  3. Set up a contrast-enhanced ultrasound program in their own departments.
