Overview 

Critical theory offers valuable tools for examining power, privilege and inequities in healthcare education, but applying these perspectives in research can be challenging. This workshop will introduce key critical theories and concepts, build confidence in reading critical scholarship, and explore how critical approaches can inform health professions education research design, methods and analysis.
