This lunch time talk; Contraception: Myth vs. Fact will provide guidance for the pediatric provider with resourceful information when meeting the needs of their patients regarding this aspect of their care.
Miriam Langer, MD (Attending Pediatric Physician, Division of Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia)
Dr. Miriam D. Langer is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania. In Dr. Langer’s adolescent medicine practice, she cares for children with a wide variety of medical conditions, while simultaneously addressing adolescent behavioral issues. She specializes in menstrual problems, healthcare for LGBTQIA+ youth and she provides in-office access to long-acting reversible contraception, among other services.
