This fourth annual Pediatric CRNA Simulation Boot Camp will provide certified registered nurse anesthetists with three interactive simulations plus two skill-based stations. The simulation scenarios will provide exposure and practice with crisis resource management skills during pediatric critical events, with an emphasis on the PALS algorithm. The skills stations will provide an introduction and a hands-on session involving difficult airway techniques and devices and an ultrasound session for PIVs, central lines, arterial lines and regional landmarks.
This event is being offered to CRNAs interested in pediatric anesthesia. It will be hosted by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) anesthesiologists, CRNAs, team members from the Center for Simulation, Advanced Education and Innovation, and staff RNs, along with faculty from surrounding pediatric institutions.
The registration fee is $100 for non-CHOP employees. Please register by Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020. Registration is limited to the first 30 CRNAs.
