Overview 

Primary care providers are often the front-line of identifying and managing depression and suicidality and therefore need skills in the diagnosis and management of these conditions. This course will explore screening and assessment tools, diagnostic criteria and therapeutic approaches (including cognitive behavioral therapy and antidepressants). A case-based discussion will help integrate each step into real-world clinical scenarios.
