CHOP’s Food Allergy Center organizes regular informational workshops to help parents, grandparents and caregivers of patients newly diagnosed with food allergies.
This virtual event will:
- Provide evidence-based information about how best to avoid food allergens
- Explore myths about food allergy
- Give instructions on how best to read food labels to identify potential allergens
- Discuss how to prepare your family for any accidental exposures or allergic reactions
We’ll also review prevention strategies to ensure your child (and family) have healthy coping strategies to deal with this diagnosis.
