Neuroendocrine Symposium
This one-day program is targeted to endocrinologists, neuro-oncologists, radiologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, fellows, residents and nurse practitioners who evaluate or treat children with hypothalamic/pituitary disorders. This program will highlight new advances in the approach to the child with a craniopharyngioma, the management of diabetes insipidus in infants, and the diagnosis and management of the child with pseudotumor cerebri. We will review the work-up of Cushings’ disease and neuroradiological features of those with various disorders of the pituitary or hypothalamus. Alternative methods of inducing puberty in central hypogonadism will be described. There will be question and answer sessions with expert panels.
