Oncology Patient & Family Town Hall: Looking Out for Your Child’s Emotional Well-being

This segment of the Cancer Center Family Town Hall is focused on helping caregivers understand and recognize concerning signs of emotional distress in their children/teens as they manage potentially stressful changes related to cancer. This talk will also review the supports available at the Cancer Center to help.

  • Learn about common emotional adjustment reactions and what you can often expect when your child/teen is managing their cancer experience.
  • Learn to identify signs of resilience and positive adjustment, as well as warning signs that your child/teen is struggling and may need additional support and intervention.
