“Our Hearing Story” Chapter Two: School Days

Children with hearing loss, their siblings and their parents/caregivers are invited to the second in a series of workshops to support families of children with newly diagnosed permanent hearing loss. The theme of our second meeting is "Chapter Two: School Days."

  • Adults: gain knowledge about educational law, build advocacy skills, and create an IFSP/IEP/504 plan organizational system.
  • Kids: enjoy craft activities while talking to other kids about what it’s like growing up and going to school with hearing loss.

Parking vouchers, light snacks, and beverages will be provided. Separate sessions for children and adults. This event is for parents/caregivers only. No childcare will be available.
