Overview
This 4-day, in-person course provides learners with a comprehensive examination of the morphology of congenital heart disease. The course was created and led by the late Paul M. Weinberg, MD, a renowned cardiac morphologist, for 8 years. Now in the course’s 13th year, Dr. Weinberg’s colleagues (many of whom he trained in cardiology and morphology at CHOP) continue to carry on his legacy by providing expert content in cardiac morphology, utilizing many of Dr. Weinberg’s own teaching materials. To supplement anatomic teaching, there are sessions on echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and surgical correlation by distinguished faculty. One of the course’s highlights is access to hands-on specimens.
