Silken Twine Charity’s 4th Annual Sophie’s Steps 2023

Sophie’s Steps 2023 will be held at Lukens Park in Horsham, PA on September 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (in-person registration begins at 8 a.m.). If you can’t join us in person, go for a walk or run, any time of day, be it around your home or in your neighborhood. Take some pictures and share them on the race website; even share your distances and times if you like as a screenshot (we recommend an app like Strava or Map My Run). Sophie’s Steps is a non-competitive event to show your support for children battling pediatric cancers and their families. Proceeds from the event go to support CHOP Oncology families.

Silken Twine is a non-profit foundation committed to helping pediatric cancer patients and their families.  Silken Twine has financially supported over 80 families with non-medical expenses such as groceries and transportation. Additionally, Silken Twine distributes a $1000 college scholarship to two accomplished and brave young cancer survivors each year. Proceeds from the event go to support CHOP Oncology families.
