Virtual Summer Yoga Series to Help with Symptoms of IBD

Date:
Jul 12, 2021-Aug 2, 2021, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. (ET)

The Integrative Health Program at CHOP is launching a four-part series of virtual group yoga classes for adolescents (ages 10-17), to help with symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). All levels of experience are welcome. Yoga focuses your attention on your breath and body at the same time. It can help to improve wellbeing through the practice of poses, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation. This series will be led by a CHOP certified children’s yoga teacher who has extensive experience working with children with a variety of health conditions. In these live virtual classes, you can receive individualized recommendations from our experienced yoga therapist and gain a sense of community by practicing in real-time with others.
