Support CHOP through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program
Your gift to CHOP’s Hospital School Program can Reduce Your PA Tax Liability
The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows Pennsylvania (PA) taxpayers and businesses to support educational improvement organizations (EIOs). Through this program, individuals and businesses can receive tax credits up to 90% for gifts to approved programs, directly reducing PA state tax liability. CHOP’s Hospital School Program is a state-approved EIO.
Help CHOP Patients Stay on Track Academically
The Hospital School Program ensures that children experiencing prolonged or intermittent hospital stays don’t miss out on their learning. A team of PA state-certified teachers and education coordinators work with patients’ home school districts, families and medical teams to develop highly individualized learning experiences that help keep children on track with their academic learnings. The program operates at all three of CHOP’s inpatient hospital locations and serves 400 to 500 patients annually.
