Well Baby/Child Check-up Schedule: Newtown

During well visits at CHOP Primary Care, Newtown, your child will receive a complete physical examination to assess growth and development and help identify problems early. Hearing, vision and other tests, as well as vaccination, will be a part of some visits.

Newborn

This is the first visit to our office after your child is born.

Pennsylvania law: In order for driver license forms to be completed, your child must have had a well visit within the last six months prior to his or her 16th birthday.  Please schedule your child’s well visit accordingly. We will schedule a driver physical, which is self-pay, if your child’s last well visit has been more than six months.

For college-bound students: Some colleges will require a skin test called PPD to be administered to check for tuberculosis. Please check your college application form to see if this is a required test.
