On March 7-8, 2026, hundreds of supporters came together for the 10th annual Philly Spin-In, the Cardiac Center’s largest annual fundraiser. Together, participants raised more than $1.38M to advance pediatric cardiac care and research for children with heart disease. Since its founding, Philly Spin-In has generated more than $8.1 million to drive breakthroughs in diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes of pediatric heart disease.
Throughout the weekend, patient families, clinicians, researchers, donors and volunteers, rode side by side, sharing inspiring stories, honoring journeys and celebrating the strength and resilience of our heart warriors.
Funds raised each year directly support the Cardiac Center’s Innovation Awards, which fuel bold ideas and breakthrough solutions. Since 2018, more than 40 projects spanning clinical care, scientific research, education, and patient and family experience have been funded, accelerating progress against some of the most complex challenges in pediatric heart disease.
Grace, a 2026 Spin-in ambassador and CHOP heart warrior, attended the event for the first time this year, and her family shared why this community means so much in a recent NBC10 segment.
