6abc Action News features the Young Adult Hip Preservation Program, and patient Kelsey Mackell's success story. Kelsey began experiencing hip pain as a high school athlete, and after being treated by Wudbhav Sankar, MD, pediatric orthopedic surgeon at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, she's pain free.
Dr. Sankar heads up the Young Adult Hip Preservation Program at CHOP, which offers evaluation, testing and treatment for hip conditions that affect older teens and adults in their 20s and 30s.
