Marni Falk, MD
In a piece that aired on 6ABC Action News, health reporter Ali Gorman discusses the challenges of mitochondrial disease with Marni Falk, MD, an attending physician and Executive Director of the Mitochondrial Medicine, a Frontier Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Falk describes the many organs that can be impacted by mitochondrial disease and the increased knowledge about the disease in recent years.
Falk also describes how families like the Davises are critical in advancing research forward. To do their part in helping to find a cure for the disease, the Davis family is holding a fundraiser on October 13 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Townsend Room at 12273 Townsend Road in Philadelphia. You can learn more about the event on Grayson’s fundraising page.
