Mark P. Johnson, MD, attending physician in the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at CHOP, was recently honored with Chai Lifeline’s Community Service Award.

Dr. Johnson accepted the award on behalf of the entire Garbose Family Special Delivery Unit (SDU) team. Before the Reception, Dr. Johnson met with more than 40 of the community’s leading rabbonim. The discussion centered on the laws and cultural sensitivities surrounding the life-saving work of the SDU.

Chai Lifeline is an international non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the non-medical needs of seriously ill children, their families and communities.
