Announcing the Cardiac Center, Allentown

Three doctors standing with ultrasound machine Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce that the physicians and staff of Children’s Heart Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania have joined Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and will now be offering services through the Cardiac Center at CHOP.

 “We are excited to bring this practice into the CHOP Care Network,” said Joseph Rossano, MD, Chief of Cardiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. “We have a strong history of working with this skilled care team, and many of their patients, and we look forward to offering CHOP’s excellent cardiology care more directly in the Allentown area.”

“While there are some changes on the horizon for us, the core team of physicians will remain the same: Robert Palermo, DO, Ruchi Gupta, MD, and myself,” said Louis Hansrote, MD, pediatric cardiologist. “By joining CHOP, we are able to work closely with providers from CHOP’s Main Campus to give our patients easier access to the latest breakthroughs in comprehensive cardiac care.”

The new cardiology practice site, to be called CHOP Cardiac Center, Allentown, will be located at Roma Corporate Center, 1605 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., Suites 117 and 119, Allentown, PA 18104.
