Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to Provide Newborn Care at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is pleased to announce that the Special Care Nursery at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is now being managed and staffed by CHOP neonatologists. With this announcement, CHOP-affiliated physicians will provide services at all of Virtua Health’s neonatology sites. This expansion of the CHOP at Virtua alliance ensures that patients are receiving standardized, exceptional care. The hospital’s 15-bed Special Care Nursery provides Level II support for premature and ill babies. This partnership is part of an ongoing alliance to provide CHOP expertise close to home.
