The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Ambulatory Network (Primary and Specialty Care) has achieved the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Stage 7. HIMSS is an organization that focuses on better health through information and technology, and leads efforts to optimize health engagement and care outcomes using information technology.
HIMSS Analytics Outpatient Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (O-EMRAM) Stage 7 is the highest tier of recognition that HIMSS gives to organizations for outpatient Electronic Medical Record (EMR) adoption.
