Many children are still experiencing big feelings surrounding COVID-19 that they may not be able to process. Parents are also adapting to a “new normal”, and it can be difficult to talk to kids when you don’t have all the answers yourself.
Wanjiku F.M. Njoroge, MD, medical director of the Young Child Clinic, appeared on CNN this weekend to offer tips on how to talk to your children about COVID-19. Members of Sesame Street also joined the Town Hall to ask their questions and help children understand their feelings.
