The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at CHOP welcomes Jay Mehta, MD, as clinical director. Mehta received his SB at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MD at the University of Nevada, and masters in Translational Research at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado and his fellowship at CHOP. Dr. Mehta cares for children with all rheumatic disease and has a clinical and research interest in children with Sjogren Syndrome. Prior to returning to CHOP, he was at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, New York.
Also, Pamela Weiss, MD, MSCE, will see Rheumatology patients at the CHOP Care Network Brandywine Valley Specialty Care and Ambulatory Surgery Center starting August 1. Weiss, who has been at CHOP since 2008, cares for children with all rheumatic conditions, but specializes in juvenile arthritis, spondyloarthritis, and vasculitis.
