Feb. 28, 2013 — Peter Grollman, vice president of Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, testified about CHOP's International Medicine Program before the Philadelphia City Council Committee on Global Opportunities and State Sen. Michael Brubaker, (R-Lancaster), chairman of the Pennsylvania Senate International Commerce Caucus.
This hearing was held to learn more about Philadelphia’s business climate for expanding international trade and investments, support innovation and promote global partnerships. It was organized jointly by David Oh, City councilman at-large, and Brubaker, chairman of the Pennsylvania Senate International Commerce Caucus.
Grollman spoke about CHOP’s concerted effort to examine and expand our international profile to extend the reach of the Hospital around the globe through four main programs: international patient services, international collaborations, international medical education, and global health.
