Kirsty Graham
Kirsty Graham is Chief Executive Officer of Edelman U.S., a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
Ms. Graham joined Edelman in 2020, and has held several leadership roles at the firm, including Global Chair of the Health sector and Global President of Practices and Sectors. In her current role, she continues to serve on Edelman’s Executive Leadership Team, bringing together her deep expertise in diplomacy, corporate affairs and communications to help clients navigate the intersection of business, policy and society.
Prior to joining Edelman, Ms. Graham spent a decade at Pfizer Inc., in a series of senior leadership roles, including Head of Global Policy and Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for the Biopharmaceuticals Group. Earlier in her career, she spent 16 years in the New Zealand Foreign Service, with a posting in Washington, D.C., and five years as Deputy Ambassador at the United Nations.
Ms. Graham earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy and a postgraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Otago.
Essex Mitchell
Essex Mitchell is Chief Operating Officer of Hologic, Inc., a Massachusetts-based, global medical technology company that focuses on women’s health. The company has locations in 15 countries and more than 7,000 employees.
Mr. Mitchell joined Hologic as Vice President of Sales in 2017 and was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2019, serving the company’s interests in the Greater Philadelphia region. Prior to joining Hologic, he spent over a decade with Stryker Corporation, a medical technology firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mitchell worked for Merck and Abbott.
Mr. Mitchell is an alumnus of The Ohio State University, where he spent four years as a varsity letterman for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. After graduating with a degree in Human Resources, Mr. Mitchell played football professionally for several years (as David Mitchell; he shares his first name, Essex, with his father and went by his middle name in college) in both the National Football League and the Canadian Football League.
Brian Schaller
Brian Schaller is President of Wawa, Inc., a chain of more than 1,200 convenience stores with more than 50,000 Wawa associates serving nearly 2 million customers daily. He leads the company’s Store Operations, Fuel, Real Estate, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing teams.
Mr. Schaller joined Wawa in 2002. Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President and previously held positions on the Finance, Risk Management and Fuel teams. Before joining Wawa, he worked at Deloitte and Touche as a Manager in the Audit and Assurance practice in Princeton, NJ, specializing in the audit of financial service companies.
Mr. Schaller serves on several boards, including The Wawa Associates In Need Fund, Vybe Urgent Care, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Economic and Community Advisory Council. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from La Salle University and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1999.
Sue Schick
Sue Schick is a healthcare executive and corporate board leader with more than 30 years of experience across healthcare services, health insurance and health technology.
Ms. Schick was recently named CEO of TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions, a tech-enabled specialty healthcare management company focused on improving musculoskeletal and cardiac care for more than 45 million people nationwide. Previously, she served as President and Chief Revenue Officer of Zelis, a leading healthcare technology company focused on simplifying payments, claims and communications among health plans, providers and consumers.
For much of her career, Ms. Schick held senior executive roles at UnitedHealth Group and Humana, with leadership experience spanning commercial insurance and government programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE.
Ms. Schick currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Randolph-Macon College and is a former member of the National Board of Trustees of the March of Dimes. She earned a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business from Randolph-Macon College.
