Charmane Braxton, BS-RT, AHCN, Community Health Worker with CHOP’s Community Asthma Prevention Program (CAPP), participated in a roundtable discussion on climate change and its effects on kids’ health, which was hosted by U.S. Sens. Bob Casey (D-PA) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) on October 24.
Other panelists included Montgomery County Commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh, and representatives from PennEnvironment, MOMS Clean Air Force, Physicians for Social Responsibility, and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. Thank you to Senators Casey and Whitehouse for their leadership on this important issue.
