Each year, more than 27,000 U.S. men and women are diagnosed with cancer caused by HPV. HPV infections result in:

  • Ten of 10 cases of cervical cancer
  • Seven of 10 cases of vulvar and vaginal cancers
  • Six of 10 cases of penile cancer
  • Nine of 10 cases of anal cancer
  • Seven of 10 cases of throat cancer
