According to recent data released by the CDC:

  • Only 4 of every 10 females and 3 of every 10 males between the ages of 13 and 17 years have received the recommended three doses of HPV vaccine.
  • In comparison:
    • About 8 or 9 of every 10 teens got Tdap vaccine.
    • About 8 of every 10 teens got the meningococcal vaccine known as meningococcal ACWY vaccine.
    • About 8 of every 10 teens have gotten a second dose of chickenpox vaccine.
