Division Participates in NASPGHAN Conference

On October 14 – 20, 2019, members from the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition had a record showing of posters, workshops and talks at the annual North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
46 projects were presented by physicians, fellows, psychologists, nurse practitioners and nurses covering many of the following topics:
- Endoscopic Techniques
- Motility Disorders
- Nutrition and Dietary Therapies
- Very Early Onset (VEO) IBD
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Lymphatic Disorders
- Intestinal Rehabilitation
- Eosinophilic Esophagitis
- Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
- GI Transition to Adult Care
- Pediatric Obesity and Weight Management
- Celiac Disease
- Liver Disease
The division also hosted an exhibiters booth featuring a “Meet the Experts” table, encouraging additional conversations about complex patient care and opportunities for future collaboration.
