First Annual Language Access Summit Highlighted in Philadelphia Inquirer

In a recent article focused on the importance of language to the immigrant population, Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jeff Gammage highlights the first annual Language Access Summit, hosted by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Language Services and the Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition.

Funded through a CHOP Cares Community Grant, the Summit brought together local hospital leaders working in language access and health literacy to share best practices and tools, identify and address common challenges, and create a network that commits to improve language access for limited English proficiency (LEP) patients.
