Wendy Sue Swanson, MD, MBE, FAAP, more commonly known for her Seattle Mama Doc blog, recently released her first book, “Mama Doc Medicine: Finding Calm and Confidence in Parenting, Child Health, and
World-Life Balance.” Using some of her most popular blog posts as well as additional information, “Mama Doc Medicine” is a tell-all guide that offers easy-to-understand answers to questions typically asked by parents. The book is presented in four parts: Prevention, Social-Emotional Support, Immunizations, and Work-Life Balance/Mothering. At the beginning of each section, Dr. Swanson also provides an infographic related to the topic being discussed.
