Managing Diabetes Throughout the Holiday Season

The holiday season can bring joy and happy memories, but for parents of children with diabetes, it can also add stress. Melissa Rearson, MSN, CRNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Diabetes Center and the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), teamed up with one patient family to discuss helpful tips for parents. They discussed everything from navigating sugary sweets, to combating inactivity from long car rides or air travel.
