CHOP has many programs and resources designed to help and support patients and families throughout the course of care. Whether receiving routine care or suddenly facing an unexpected illness, we have a team of dedicated professionals available to help find ways to best manage those situations. These services are now centralized under a newly named department: the Patient and Family Services Department, headed by senior director Rachel Biblow, MSW.
Divisions include: Family Centered Care, Family Relations, Spiritual Care, Language Services, Patient and Family Experience, and Social Work. All share the same goal: ensuring families needs are met in a way that reflects respect, understanding and compassion.
We recognize that illness can be stressful, and we have resources available to help support you, your child and your family. If you have questions about supports available through this department, call 215-590-2072.
