New York Times Highlights Detergent Pod Risks to Children

Fred Henretig, MD, an emergency medicine doctor and senior toxicologist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, was interviewed by the New York Times for an article about the risks detergent pods pose to children.
According to Dr. Henretig, while the most important factor is to decrease the toxicity of the product itself, true child-resistant packaging for laundry pods can make an important difference in keeping it out of the hands of young children.
