CHOP Talk: A Voice for ChildrenOn Dec. 28, New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney visited CHOP for a meeting with President and CEO Madeline Bell and a tour of the Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care located on the Raymond G. Perelman Campus.
Sweeney is a long-time advocate for children’s healthcare and an advocate for containing the cost of medical care and pharmaceuticals. He said he was impressed with the new facility, CHOP’s staff, and the Institution’s national and international reputation.
