NY Times: CHOP Doctor Discusses Pediatric Stroke

January 20, 2010 — Jared Dienst, an 8-year-old New Yorker, suffered a stroke in June 2008 and was treated by specialists from four institutions, including The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. One of his doctors, Rebecca Ichord, MD, director of CHOP's Pediatric Stroke Program, is quoted in a Jan. 18 article on nytimes.com. Dr. Ichord discusses the challenges of diagnosing and treating strokes in children.
