On Sunday, April 7, 2019, more than 100 patients treated in the Center for Thoracic Insufficiency (CTIS) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), along with their families, came to the hospital — not for a day full of procedures and appointments, but instead for a day of games, fun, face painting and food!
Patients reconnected with their medical team, and others united by a common diagnosis of TIS. The highly anticipated event provides a yearly opportunity for families to meet and speak with others in similar circumstances.
