Patients and Clinicians Celebrate Annual Family Reunion

Published on in CHOP News

Group photo On Sunday, April 7, 2019, more than 100 patients treated in the Center for Thoracic Insufficiency (CTIS) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), along with their families, came to the hospital — not for a day full of procedures and appointments, but instead for a day of games, fun, face painting and food!

Patients reconnected with their medical team, and others united by a common diagnosis of TIS. The highly anticipated event provides a yearly opportunity for families to meet and speak with others in similar circumstances.
