Patients from CHOP’s Division of Plastic Surgery Treated to Day of Beauty

Published on in CHOP News

On Sunday, May 7, more than 20 patients from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery enjoyed a full day of pampering hosted at Salon l’Etoile in Jenkintown, where stylists donated their time and services. Timed with prom season, the teens and tweens received the salon’s most popular offerings, including haircuts, hair coloring, manicures and makeup. The kids were also treated to a surprise visit from Lentil, a dog with a bilateral cleft palate. The annual event serves as a reminder of what is possible for our patients and is designed to leave them with smiles and a boost in their self-esteem.
