Pediatric Voice Program Hosts Annual Voice Day Event

Published on in CHOP News

Children singing On Sunday, April 14, 2019, the Pediatric Voice Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) hosted a World Voice Day celebration. More than 100 gathered for this family-friendly event where attendees learned fun facts about the voice and enjoyed featured performances from local/regional choirs and musical theater programs.

Timed with World Voice Day, a day celebrated in April when the entire world recognizes the importance of the voice, this event encouraged hands-on learning and fun activities to help educate both patients and non-patients.

The Pediatric Voice Program is part of CHOP’s Center for Pediatric Airway Disorders which offers advanced care and surgery for children with complex airway and swallowing problems.
