Supporting Transgender Youth at Home and School

Published on in CHOP News

Inspired by the presentation Linda Hawkins, PhD, MSEd, LPC, and Samantha Taylor, MSW, MEd, LSW, gave during the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools (ADVIS) conference in January, blogger Alison Cupp Relyea reiterates the importance of supporting transgender youth. Read Relyea’s second post on the topic in her guest blog for Team Finch.

Her earlier blog covered the work being done at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to support children struggling with their gender identity and their families.
