Nicu Nurses surprised NBC Today ShowDuring Nurses Week, CHOP N/IICU nurses Tracy Widmer, RN, MSN, CRNP, and Anne Marie Kohler, RN, were featured on NBC's Today show with Kathie Lee and Hoda to represent all of the amazing nurses at CHOP! Tracy and Anne Marie also got a very special surprise — the chance to see one of their patients, Chad Kopfle, whom they cared for 10 years ago in the NICU at CHOP, along with his parents, Kelli and Mike.

Chad was diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and was born with his organs in his chest cavity.  He stayed at CHOP in the N/IICU for the first 318 days of his life.
