Background

Shauna, originally from California, is making her journey from the West coast to the East coast through Midwest and South. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Scienceand Pre-professional Studies from University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Subsequently, she completed her nursing studies at Marquette University, Wisconsin. She moved to CHOP from Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, where she was a nurse practitioner in the Cardiovascular ICU. She has interests in heart failure, ventricular assist devices and hemodynamic monitoring. Shauna loves to explore the city with her golden retriever and is training for the NYC marathon in November.
