If you currently receive family planning services at CHOP Primary Care, Cobbs Creek, or CHOP Primary Care, Karabots in West Philadelphia, there are important changes coming soon. 

Effective January 1, 2026: 

• If you are not a CHOP Primary Care patient at the office where you receive family planning care (e.g. you don’t get regular check-ups here), you will need to transfer your family planning care to another clinic.
• Uninsured patients can no longer receive family planning services at our offices.
• Patients with private insurance (non-Medicaid) may continue family planning care if you also receive primary care (regular check-ups) at the same location. Please know confidentiality cannot be fully guaranteed due to insurance billing changes.
• Patients with Medicaid may continue family planning care if you also receive primary care (regular check-ups) at the same location. 

Our team is available to answer questions, help you find a new clinic, and assist with record transfers. Access Matters has resources to help find other local clinics that offer these services.
