Home Plate for Prediabetes
Contact
Description
We are studying how a cooking and food skills program called Home Plate can help children with prediabetes and their families. Prediabetes means your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be called diabetes. We want to see if Home Plate helps with healthy eating, average blood sugar levels, having enough healthy food to eat, and feelings about food at home and in the community.
