The goal of CHOP Career Path is to help young adults ages 18-22 with chronic illness and/or disabilities bridge the gap between high school and the working world.
The program assists young adults who are making the transition from adolescence and school to adulthood and work by providing job coaches and internships at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or in the community. There is a strong emphasis on vocational training and independent living skills.
This program receives referrals for services from the person’s local vocational services office. Contact your local PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation or NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services to learn more about being referred to CHOP Career Path Program.
