Welcome to your child's virtual visit

Your provider will be joining soon — please stay connected.

What to expect today

Your child's provider will guide you through the visit. During your visit, your provider may:

  • Review your child’s symptoms and history
  • Ask questions about how your child has been feeling
  • Observe your child’s breathing, movement, or skin appearance
  • Ask your child to do simple actions
  • Discuss next steps, prescriptions, or follow-up care

If you get disconnected, simply rejoin the visit — your provider’s team will wait for you.

Need language support? Interpreters are available to join your visit on demand. Over 65 languages are supported, including American Sign Language. Ask your care team and they'll get you connected.

While you wait

To help your visit go smoothly, take a moment to check the following:

  • Lighting: Sit in a bright room so your child’s face is easy to see.
  • Camera Position: Place your device at eye level when possible.
  • Sound: Check your volume and mute settings.
  • Space: Choose a quiet, distraction-free spot.
  • Tools: Keep a thermometer, flashlight, and medication list nearby.
  • People: If another caregiver should join, invite them now.

We'll be starting soon!

Troubleshooting tips

Having technical issues? Try this:

  • Move closer to your Wi‑Fi router
  • Close other apps using your camera
  • Switch to a different device if available
  • Refresh your browser or rejoin the call
  • Plug your device into a power source
  • If you lose connection, reopen your visit from MyCHOP — your provider will still be waiting
