About Lauren Biedron, MSN, CRNP
Lauren received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami with a major in Nursing and minor in Psychology. She subsequently went to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, Pediatric Acute Care NP Program.
Lauren brings a wealth of experience to the Lymphatic program. She is a clinical nurse expert in the PICU here at CHOP where she managed the daily PICU operations of staffing, patient flow, safety and patient/family satisfaction. It was during this time; she became interested in the Lymphatic program and became the local expert in the PICU for this population.
Professionally, she has collaborated with others in the PICU to publish the following two articles. “Understanding the impact on timely antibiotics, perceptions and barriers” in Critical Care Medicine (2019). Also, “Improved antibiotic delivery for sepsis in the PICU” in Pediatric Quality & Safety (2018). In addition, participated in interdisciplinary abstracts/poster presentations on “Increasing Huddle Compliance through multimodal educational interventions” & “Sepsis Huddle”.
