Division of Pediatric General, Thoracic and Fetal Surgery
CHOP’s expert pediatric surgeons perform a wide variety of surgical procedures, including abdominal and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, oncologic surgery, trauma surgery and fetal surgery. After surgery, children receive coordinated postoperative follow-up care tailored to their condition. Depending on the type of surgery your child needs, he or she may be able to have the procedure done at one of our Specialty Care and Ambulatory Surgery Centers, where outpatient surgical procedures are attended by full surgical teams, including pediatric anesthesiologists.
