Founded in 2005, the Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia specializes in the care of children with multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases. Our multidisciplinary team consists of neurologists, occupational therapists, a nurse practitioner, a physical therapist and a social worker. We also collaborate with other specialties within CHOP, such as ophthalmology, urology, pain management and neuropsychiatry and coordinate care when necessary.
Our clinic works closely with the adult MS program at the University of Pennsylvania, which allows for a seamless transition of your child's care to an adult doctor when appropriate.
Our Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Clinic is located in the Main Campus, on the 6th Floor of the Wood Building. We see patients every Thursday of each month.
If your child has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), optic neuritis, neuromyelitis optica, transverse myelitis or has symptoms of a demyelinating disease, please call the Neurology Department at 215-590-1719 and ask to speak with one of the MS Clinic coodinators to schedule an appointment.
