Physiology of the chest wall, and tests of respiratory muscle function. Applications to clinical care of children with neuromuscular disease, chronic lung disease and chronic respiratory failure.

Integrating systems of asthma care across the Children's Hospital Healthcare system. Supported by a grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts.

The relationship between episodic asthma and hypoxemia and  painful episodes in children with sickle cell disease. Supported by a grant from the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health.
